Why did you exclude vendor-published stats from competing platforms?
We rely on research published by analyst firms (Gallup), neutral industry institutes (Achievers Workforce Institute), or by Workhuman in partnership with Gallup -- where the methodology is transparent and the sample is large enough to be defensible. Single-vendor surveys without methodology disclosure don't make this page.
What's the difference between recognition and engagement?
Engagement is the broader measure of how committed an employee is to their organization. Recognition is one of the specific drivers of engagement -- and the Gallup research shows employees who feel fulfilled by recognition are 4x as likely to be engaged. Recognition is something you can act on; engagement is something you measure.
